I am the miracle...

Posted on Aug 19th, 2008 by PJ : Imagination Ninja PJ
So, here are the building blocks : the car, no gasoline, heavy rain, nobody around,... If I keep it neutral, nothing is wrong. It is just Life happening as usual...Do you see a difference between this situation and a birthday party with friends? The neutral  building blocks would be : friends around, food, music, etc...If you do not mix any negative or positive jugement there is no difference, only different stories happening : a story is a story is a story...that's all...

Now, if we just stay with the building blocks nothing will move. It is why we need to take an option. We have to start a new chapter, nobody on this planet ever stayed stuck forever near a car with an empty tank waiting for a miracle to happen . We all have an inbuilt mecanism that after a while starts creating a "story seed"...

So now, the question is what kind of  story seed will I choose to help things move?

At the end of my last post, I decided to let go the "drama" seed. So I will choose an "heroic" story seed. I decide to see my problem as a "vision quest"? It sounds nice isn't it ? And it is free...I know lot of people who pay  to participate in vision quests workshops with a "shaman". In my actual situation it is raining but I am lucky because I do not need to pay anything and I am alone so I can become the student and the shaman, and I can study at my own pace : Dear Master, how can I solve this problem?

And that is when I get a chance to meet what we call "God" or "Great Spirit". This time, I am  playing "real". It is the right moment to check if all my meditations, my spiritual readings and even my membership at Gaïa community can help me...The reality checkpoint  is now or never. How will I be able to help saving the planet if I already feel lost when my car runs out of fuel?

The situation is not depressing anymore, it is even becoming exciting. I am now fully aware and very curious about what will happen next...In the worst case I will have to walk until something happens...And so? Where is the problem? If I decide that there is no problem anywhere, it is just a story happening. Remember, a story is a story is a story...

Once, in Paris, I was ready to leave my hotel for the airport to take a plane. When I went to the reception to ask for a taxi I learned that there was a strike in the metro so no taxi would be available for a few hours... Bad news! See the common point with the car in the middle of nowhere? But ths time I am in the Center of Paris, a lot of people around me, all waiting for taxis...But this time the missing element is the car...

What did I do? Nothing. But because I consider my life as a continuous "Vision quest" in real time I just thought : "What will Great Spirit create now to continue this story?" And I started to feel really excited. Almost immediately an answer came ;  the man of the reception said to a lady who have been waiting for hours : "Your taxi is coming". And taking the voice of the lady, Great Spirit said to me : "I go to the airport so if you want please share the cab with me...".
I reached the airport just in time and was the last passenger to be able to check in for the flight.

Grounding our stories.

Posted on Aug 18th, 2008 by PJ : Imagination Ninja PJ
Reading this Blog you may think I am a dreamer and those ideas of all being stories is the proof I completely lost contact with "reality"...
In fact yes I am a dreamer but I don't live IN my dreams, I live my dreams... which is different. The important difference is about "GROUNDING". "Grounding" means standing on the ground and the ground is where your feet really are right HERE AND NOW. This implies to really see the nature of your actual story and accepting that it is as it is, for now...

Imagine you are a homeless, read this blog and think "OK, let's try! I'll build another story about myself having a big house, 2 cars and a great job. If everything is a story I'll create this scenario and the magic will work... "

And maybe it will not. Why?

Because, you need first to look at your "homeless" story and decide if you do not  want  this story anymore.  You need first to see where your feet stand to free the energy  frozen in the story you want to let go. It is like clay. You take some clay to create a plate, after a while you consider you don't need this plate and prefer to create a vase. You break the plate, get back to the neutral clay and build the new shape.

Remember the first and second Law of storytelling : Be back to neutral and take Authorship!
Energy cannot disappear, it only can change shape... We cannot say I leave this story here and build a new one somewhere else because if we do not bring our story back to "neutral" it will go with us wherever we go.

First we have to make the statement that we don't need this story anymore and bring it componants to a neutral point before starting a new creation. Let's take tan example to illustrate. Suppose I forget to put gasoline in my tank and suddenly my car stops in the middle of nowhere... By experience I know that this type of problems have big chances to happen when we are stuck in a kind of negative pattern (Too busy, too distracted by things in our mind, or looking for ways to face frustrating situations).

My car stops, nobody around, it's night time, it's dark and to make it more "fun" it rains...
I look at what is here now. That's the story I am in... It is an "effect" of my way of building my stories.I look at it and discover a feeling of "déjà vu"... Do I like this situation? Do I enjoy it?
"NO!"
I think "NO!" It's the illumination... I decide NOW that I don't want more of these stories
I decide NOW that I will break the plate and create something new... Normally I would have thought : "Always the same thing, God, why do this kind of boring things always happen to me?" But now I say : "Why am I always creating this kind of situations for myself?"

And I decide :
"From now I start a new story radically different, a story In which I only have fun"..."
That's the first step. Once I take the step, I move to a neutral state and free all the potentials for new expression.

Then how do I move to the next step?

All is a story!

Posted on Aug 15th, 2008 by PJ : Imagination Ninja PJ
To retrieve your creative power you need to be absolutely convinced that what all people in your culture believe to be REALITY is just a consensual collective story and all that you believe to be REALITY is just a private story determined by your "history" and your environment...

We have to be radical : ALL is a story!
Our body is a story,
science is a story,
medicine is a story,
news on TV are stories,
UFOS and Aliens are stories,
religions are stories,
meditation techniques are stories,
political events are stories,
the evolution of humanity, the description of the planets, everything,
EVERYTHING LOOKING EVIDENT
is only a story we choose to believe in...

Nothing exists if we don't personally allow it to exist in our consciousness...
Understand how much this can bring a radical shift...
This realization leaves plenty of free space for a whole new world...

It is so radical that the whole overlay created by Culture is resisting...
So radical that the "STORY MATRIX" created by our mind is resisting...

"Storytelling" can be used  as a way to reinforce illusions
or become a technique helping us to come out of the "MATRIX"...
Becoming conscious storytellers is expressing  our INDIVIDUALITY. Becoming a real  individual implies the acceptation of the POWER to create.
Let see how this works in terms of "energy flow" :
When I use the word "POWER" I don't talk about "domination" or "control" of others. I talk about "MASTERSHIP" and "ENERGY"... Remember the first rule of storytelling : stories are built to move energy. The key question about mastership is : "Who makes the energy move?"my answer is "The one who makes energy move is the MASTER..."

So let's come back down to earth and look at a very simple illustration :
When you face a situation conflicting with your aspirations and feel frustrated, if you think : "I'm not responsible, it is because of my boss, my partner, the driver of the other car, my bad chance, my karma,etc..." do you see who makes the energy move?

NOT YOU .

If I translate your answer it clearly means : "In this story I have NO POWER"
And if you build  a story where you have no power, who will build a story on your behalf to give this power back to you?

See the trick?
Why will you build a story in which you disempower yourself?

Isn't it strange?
But examine your actual life. Don't you find some stories working this way?

See you next.

Discover your unconscious paterns

Posted on Aug 14th, 2008 by PJ : Imagination Ninja PJ
The last post may have sound a bit "intellectual" but in fact it's a very practical one.
I tried through explanations and examples to make you notice that not a single event in our lives is independent of our choices. It may look like an evidence for you but I meet everyday people who affirm that they didn't choose some events happening to them...

A friend of mine I didn't meet for a while told me about an accident she had. She told me a story  with all the details of the event. I asked her "Why did you choose to have
this accident?"...And she answered immediately "I didn't choose It, it's the man driving behind me who was responsible"...

I was so surprised because she practices Tibetan meditations and always talk about karma. She knows about some laws of causes and effects affecting us but in this situation she was staying completely blind about her story telling process. If she accepted to investigate a bit around the event I'm sure she would have found some interesting hints explaining how and why she choose that story and not another one...(Investigating
a bit around some of our frustrating scenarios may bring out a repeating patern we did'nt notice until then.Once we see it  we can choose to release it or not.

But if we do not reach the point where we think deep in ourselves : "Yes I believe that
everything happening to me is a story I created for some reason", we cannot access the MAGIC of storytelling.

See you next post for the Great Revelation!

Love...

Everyday life as a laboratory

Posted on Aug 13th, 2008 by PJ : Imagination Ninja PJ
Working with the law of Authorship is not about "being smart", pleasing anybody or trying to
become conform to a "spiritual" vision of life ( this vision being a traditional religious one or even a "New Age" one). It's not even about trying to change ourselves. On the contrary it's about accepting unconditionally who we are and speaking our truth as it feels.
It's not about transformation, it's about allowance, consciousness, choice and responsibility.
Let me take a very simple example from my recent experience. This morning I went out to attend a meeting at 11:00 in the morning. It ended around 12:15 and
I had another meeting after but I didn't remember if it was at 12:45 or 13:45 so I called my office for confirmation. Nobody answered. I called several times, different persons of my staff, but nobody answered. I supposed everybody went out for lunch, so I called on mobile phones and nobody answered. I started to feel upset that even during an urgency nobody from my office could be reached.

The first step was to acknowledge the elements of my present reality :
1) Nobody was there to solve my problem
2) I was feeling upset
Taking this first step gave me access to the second step: the awareness of the variety of scenarios sprouting from those two simple elements :

- In one model of reality, I consider myself as the "Boss" and feel abnormal that I cannot get the important information I need from my staff when I need it. And I start thinking about the people working with me on a negative way. Then I start building a scenario where I try to transfer the responsibility of the problem somewhere outside of my personal story : "Why does nobody in my office be present to help me when I need it".

- In another model of reality I acknowledge the fact that even if nobody answer the phone to help me with my problem and even if I feel upset I still have to decide if I go to the meeting place at 12:45 or at 13:45. The choice is mine and I have to assume the responsibility of this choice by myself.

Let call the first model of reality DRAMATIC, and the second one REALISTIC.
No one is better than the other, choosing drama can be fun if we enjoy the high excitement of emotional ups and downs but it takes time, a lot of energy and very often do not solve the problems because we put the responsibility of the solution outside of ourselves.

We are realistic when we understand we have to create a scenario even if nobody is around to help us and even if the situation is desperate.
And the funny thing is that when we start to be realistic we access the magic of creation. It just flows from the center of our being.

Do not try to UNDERSTAND this process, I suggest you try to FEEL it, to observe it.
The best laboratory for that is our daily life as it is...
Unconsciously we build stories almost every instant about everything, we just have to observe how it works.
Keep in mind that there is no reality, just a succession of stories born from hundreds of personal choices : see yourself walking through a labyrinth of stories you create as you walk...

To help you notice how it works I suggest you follow the simple process I described :
1) Allow the elements of you reality to reveal themselves -neutral building blocks- ("What is really happening here and now?")
2) Be conscious of the way the mind build scenarios from those elements and realize you have the choice between a lot of potential stories (be creative) ("What are the stories coming to my mind?")
3) Chose the "story seed" you prefer and take the entire responsibility of your choice. ("As there is no good or bad story which choice will makes me feel better").

If you do it you will see how much your productivity and your fun will increase.
And if you have any question or if you want me to clarify some points about this aspect feel free to post your questions or comments.

In my next post I'll explain how the flow of energy in our life is totally determined by our acceptance or our refusal of the Authorship.

It was all created by me.

Posted on Aug 12th, 2008 by PJ : Imagination Ninja PJ
Really taking authorship requires a very radical shift in consciousness because it implies you end with the idea of reality as being something distinct of you...

This is the MASTER KEY to empowerment because once you understand everything present in your story was brought by you, for the first time you assume the entire responsibility of what happen in what you call "reality".

A participant to one of my workshops was complaining about problems in her couple. She
explained how she was doing her best to act as a "perfect" wife. In her mind, the problem was the reaction of her husband : even with her doing all those efforts he didn't try to change the aspects of his behavior she didn't like.

Trying to make others change or trying to make the world adapt to our desires is not taking
authorship, it is giving up our power and putting the keys of our life outside of our reach.
When we put even a very small element of our stories outside of our responsibility, we lose the whole control.

To become real storytellers, the first attitude we need in front of a problem is to acknowledge we TOTALLY created this problem as a chosen story... There is no bad husband, bad neighbour, bad chance, destiny, astrological influence, evil spirit,...any single problem coming in our life is somehow "invited" by us...

The law is very simple : story telling is about creating our own stories not working on changing other people stories...
Storytelling is a technique we use to create our world not to fix the world we imagine to be outside of us... Talking about people not doing their best to act the way we think they should is a loss of personal power, Talking about "God" not doing his work with all those wars bursting around is a loss of personal power, talking about politicians not doing their work (or doing it badly) is a loss of personal power, and so on...

When you acknowledge ALL problems in your life as being elements of your "creation" you really act as THE CREATOR and you become free.

But this freedom leaves us with a great fear : the fear of self Power :
If nobody else is responsible, any choice belong to us...
Then I may choose to divorce, break my family, leave my job, make people feel sad, find myself without resources,...

We have a lot of "dark" scenarios in our database to keep us taking authorship...
It is why it's easier to put our power outside of our reach : "I am unhappy but it's not my fault,
It's because of "my partner", "my kids", "my boss", "my family", "my job", "my bad chance", "my past",...

Look at your life and you may find a lot of those excuses keeping you stuck in frustrating stories...
and in fact :
It's ALL YOUR CREATION,
it's ALL YOUR WORLD
it's ALL stories YOU CREATED...
without any exception...
And that's good news...
as we will see in the next post.

The second magical rule : Authorship

Posted on Aug 11th, 2008 by PJ : Imagination Ninja PJ
As you will see this one is very important. It is the law of AUTHORSHIP.
Until now we learned about how to find the neutral building blocks of story making around us, then we examined how we can use story seeds to "tune" our stories.
Now let go ahead and compare our life with a garden...

The building blocks are the different kinds of flowers and plants we have around, the story seeds are the rough layouts we have in mind to display those flowers and plants. At this point we have the choice to leave the garden to the "will of God" and not take the
responsibility of authorship... If you have some experience in gardening you know what will be the result. It is not because we believe that GOD knows how to build a paradise that our garden will become a paradise. You may pray and visualize for hours, if you don't take some responsibility in the story you just get nothing related with your desires...

A friend came to my house yesterday and saw my garden for the first time (It took me 3 years to create it from zero and I invest a lot of love and care to keep it as close as I can of my image of the Paradise on Earth). He said "Wow ! How did you create such a lovely garden? I have one about the same size but it's just weeds all around. "
I asked him "What did you do to give a shape to your garden?" He said "I just bought a bench so we can sit and look"...

And that's the point, if we just sit and wait, we have big chances to contemplate weeds growing... So my friend asked me "From where did you start your creation?" I said " First I had in mind the sound of water flowing" (It was my story seed) so I bought a pump
and built a small waterfall in the middle of the space"..." He answered : " Oh! we had a waterfall in the middle of our garden when we found our house but I just broke it and covered the place..."

Through this example you see how we cover our building blocks with dust and ignore their potential energy... For me, gardening is a great source of inspiration about story-telling because it shows perfectly how we get from higher (subtle) levels of energy to the 3D world. As you will see, in this blog I will very often refer to my garden teachings to illustrate my explanations.

For now, I let you meditate on this image.
How does your inner garden look now?
Don't look about past events.
Don't look for explanations or justification's.
Just the landscape, as it is, now.
And please take it easy.
Three years ago when we first entered our house the garden was just a flat space with nothing.
It was somehow the perfect reflection of what was happening in my life because I was in a complete "reset" period.

After 3 years having a lot of fun building a new story we now have a lovely garden full of flowers, butterfly, birds,...
Next week I'll be the guest for a TV show about "Life and Gardening"and our garden will be the Hero of the story...

More about this very important law of authorship in my next post.

What is a "story seed"?

Posted on Aug 10th, 2008 by PJ : Imagination Ninja PJ
Before we go ahead in the exploration of the magic of storytelling I suggest you start looking at your life on this new way from the moment you wake up in the morning. Here is the process I suggest :

- What are the first elements coming to you when you wake up?
It may be feelings, ideas, things you have to do, things you see everyday without noticing it
anymore ; like having your mate or your kids around.

You have to break the familiarity and just consider everything coming to you as a neutral element. For example "breakfast" as neutral, "rain" as neutral, even a "bad feeling" can be considered as neutral if you don't build a negative story about it... Elements are just like entries in a dictionary, they are building blocks for your story making. What you get may look like a list of potentials.

During this first step you have to be very clear not to mix "elements" and "stories".
The more you can bring things to a potential (neutral) level the more you can freely create a new story. Imagine you wake up and know you have a very busy day coming...Considering "busy day" may bring an overwhelming feeling affecting you negatively. But under a "neutral" point of view a busy day can be broken in a succession of things that should be done...

See what I mean?

Looking at it altogether create a mess in your mind, looking at it as a list let you keep focused on each element.

Got the point?
If you got it go to the next step.

Once you have the elements of the story you will choose to play. Now you have to create the "story seed" you like. You don't have to imagine all the details of your day, you just have to "tune it" with what I call a "Story seed". I presume you have seen musicians using a "tuning" fork before playing. They adjust to a "reference tone"...A "story seed" gives you a reference tone about the story you are going to embody for this particular day.

I personally find this technique very useful for transmuting what may look like stressful potentials. If I wake up in the morning with a very heavy day in front of me, a very long TV shooting that will require a lot of creativity and stamina. I look at my feelings and find the elements "Apprehension", "Tension", "Stress",...
If I don't use a different story seed the potentials may act by themselves moving from "elements" level to "story level" and I have big chances to get a "Long TV shooting draining all my stamina".

But I am also free to imagine this day as a chance to have a long day of fun, the apprehension I feel can melt and I can act in a completely relaxed and playful way...
It's just a choice and a declaration of intention... If I can get this "seed" I just let it radiate and confidently walk through my day.

I don't want to elaborate too much about this first exercise. Through this blog we will work on this aspect under several different perspectives. Do not worry if you still don't understand the process, this way of thinking will become more and more natural as we go ahead.

Anyway give it a try!
And in my next post I will write about the "second law of storytelling"

The first "magic" rule of "storytelling"

Posted on Aug 9th, 2008 by PJ : Imagination Ninja PJ
Our love for stories is not something bad or something to avoid. In fact it is vital for us.
It is one of the fastest way to modify the world we live in. If we understand the "physics" of stories we get a very powerful tool to design our realities.

The most important law of this physics is that stories "create a flow of energy".
What does that mean? Let's take an example, the word CAT and the word CHAIR.
They are just 2 words, 2 potential energies without any movement. If we create the basic story : "The cat jumps on the chair", energy is moving isn't it? And if we say : "The chair falls on the cat", we have a different story and a different movement of energy...
Without stories all situations are frozen in a potential state.

Stories are ways to make this potential energy move in different directions according to chosen scenarios . This is the first magic rule of story telling and it's a very powerful one you can use in any situation in your life.

To make the point clear I'll give you a negative application of this rule: Somebody wakes up as he does everyday, he considers 2 potential energies present in his "reality". Those energies are labeled : RAINY WEATHER and BAD FEELING... He thinks : "The weather is so rainy and I am feeling so bad that for sure today will be a mess"... That is just a story...
Do you see where the energy is going to move if this scenario is brought to a reality level?

I am sure that you can find in your imagination a lot of scenarios on how to heal a reany day and a bad feeling. It may sound very simple but because it is so simple people often do not believe it WILL work , It is why they look for more difficult or painfull solutions.

Let me illustrate the "difficult" way to build a story :
To explain this rainy weather and this bad feeling I imagine several explanations : "Irrational elements" for example. Let say that recently many things have been going wrong in my life and today even the weather is going bad and my feeling are going worst..., so I may burn some incense and perform some rituals to purify my environment... I may also use some mantras and it may work until next "problem"...

But there is no problem "per se"  and there is no "Good" or "Bad" story. What I want to show here is just that any story is a way to move energy to produce a result :To drive nails you have many choices, you are free to use your fist, a hammer, a chair, a cast iron pan, a big rock,...It's unlimited...And it's all scenarios. Some choices may only be easier or
more adapted than others...

In the next post I will give you some suggestions about practical ways to use this first rule of
storytelling in your life.

In the beginning : The story...

Posted on Aug 8th, 2008 by PJ : Imagination Ninja PJ
As human beings, we love stories. Think about the number of novels published in the world, theatre plays, movies, even the ancient sacred texts and the history of our Earth as described by science,...It's all "stories".
Something happen in our neighborhood and we ask : "What happened"...And we get stories as an answer. We feel a friend or a partner makes a strange face this morning, from this simple reality we build a story of our own, and this can be the starting point of a problem.

And an accumulation of stories leading to small problems can become a BIG PROBLEM before we notice it... So let us remember that the starting point of all problems in our life is just this vital need we have for stories.

In my next post I will explain more about why we have this vital need and how we can use it to
bridge our dreams and our realities.
